WOOD FENCE ON HARRISON STREET
The wood fence on Harrison is a good example of what neighbors did to mitigate the negative impacts from the expressway.
In 1993, neighbors paid for and built this fence on Harrison as a birthday present for Peg Studney. In July 2014, neighbors replaced the eastern portion of the fence shown in the photograph. The wood fence shields homes from the expressway and provides landscaping.
