REHM PARK AND THE OAK PARK CONSERVATORY
Both parks experience negative impacts from the expressway.
Rehm Park has a swimming pool, diving well, sand volleyball courts, a playground for small children, and playing fields. The South Fire Station is located at the northwest corner of the park. Section 4(f) in the U. S. Department of Transportation Act of 1966 requires agencies using federal funds for major impacts to analyze impacts on parks, recreational areas, and historic sites listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Conservatory is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
